New fences are introduced constantly, ranging from logs, big and tiny, to chairs, table, coffins, steps, bank with arrowheads, corners, trakhener, pimple, and a superb water complex with numerous ways to negotiate in and out. This suits very novice to very advanced riders and horses/ponies.
There is also a stretch of steeple chase fences and a new sunken road, many others fences are constantly being built and at the moment there are 50 plus.

We hold many training courses ourselves and offer facilities for pony club rallies, O.D.E.'s,and riding club training days and lectures.
A floodlit sandschool plus showjumps are available to use on site and a brick barn near to the car park has facilities for talks and lectures/slideshows. This facility has to be booked in advance.

Danethorpe Hill XCountry is superbly situated, on a picturesque working farm, near the junction of the A46/A17/A1. It is on well drained land, so can stay open from February -November (with help from the British weather!)
The large lorry park is next to the course, which makes life easier for clients with several horses and a washing off area is close by, as is a w.c.!!
